Position: Marketing Assistant

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Job Summary: The Marketing Assistant supports the marketing department of a readymix company with the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing programs related to concrete products and services. This role involves assisting in the creation of marketing materials, organizing events, and managing digital marketing efforts to enhance the company’s presence in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Campaign Support:

  • Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and technical data sheets.
  • Help organize and execute promotional events, trade shows, and industry conferences.

​Content Creation and Management:

  • Assist in managing the company’s social media accounts by scheduling posts and engaging with industry professionals and clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and insights for content creation specific to the construction and readymix industry.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage the marketing department’s calendar, scheduling meetings, and coordinating events related to the construction and readymix sectors.
  • Maintain and update marketing databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and preparing marketing presentations.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends within the construction and readymix industry.
  • Analyze competitor marketing strategies and compile relevant data for strategic planning.

  • Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, email marketing platforms, social media management tools).
    • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and web analytics.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
